Today was our little Chunk's 2 month (9 weeks old actually) doctor's appointment. This was one that Jenn and I were both excited for and apprehensive about at the same time. We were very curious to see just how big Dalton was getting (we knew he was growing because it is getting harder and harder to put the car seat in the car!) but the 2 month appointment meant it was time for shots.
The appointment started out with a laugh... I laid him on the table to change his diaper and as soon as I pulled the tabs and started to remove the diaper a stream of yellow started shooting towards my face! Luckily disaster was averted and we got him covered up before anyone got soaked!
Much to our delight, our baby has grown! Dalton now weight 12lb 12oz!!!! Beef Caaaaake!! Also, he is a full 2 feet long! 24"... he's a big boy!
Dalton is a little trooper. He took his shoots like a champ. Yes, he cried but before too long he was asleep. Our next visit will be in about 2 months. After that, we will begin giving him baby food!! This parent thing is amazing.
